America was built on logistics, on people who could move things faster, farther, and smarter. At Warp, we’re rebuilding that foundation for the next century.

Warp is a technology powered middle mile network. We’ve built more than fifty cross docks across the United States and Canada, supported by over ten thousand carriers operating cargo vans, box trucks, and 53 foot trailers. Our platform unites transportation management, cross dock orchestration, and real time visibility into one intelligent system.

We help major retailers, eCommerce brands, and manufacturers cut cost to serve, improve speed, and deliver reliability at scale by modernizing how freight moves through the middle mile. This role is your chance to help design the intelligence layer behind that system. You’ll work inside live operations that move freight, connect markets, and keep America’s economy running, while building AI tools that directly shape how decisions are made in real time.

Job Description

We are seeking a hands on AI Designer to design and build AI powered tools that sit directly inside Warp’s operating workflows. This role is not about theoretical models or research projects. It is about designing practical AI systems that planners, operators, and customers actually use to make better decisions every day.

You will work closely with operations, product, and engineering to turn messy real world logistics problems into intuitive AI driven tools. You’ll prototype quickly, ship often, and iterate based on live feedback from the people running freight on the ground.

You should be comfortable going from a blank canvas to a working product. You should enjoy thinking about user experience, data models, and system behavior at the same time. You should be excited about using modern tools like Augment, Supabase, and LLM based systems to build things that feel magical but are grounded in reality.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Build AI Tools

Design and implement AI powered internal tools that support routing, planning, exception handling, forecasting, and network optimization.

Own AI Product Experience

Translate complex logistics workflows into simple, intuitive AI driven interfaces that operators and customers can trust.

Prototype and Ship Quickly

Use tools like Augment, Supabase, and modern AI frameworks to prototype, test, and deploy solutions rapidly.

Work Inside Live Operations

Collaborate directly with operations teams to understand real constraints, edge cases, and failure modes, then design AI systems that work under pressure.

Data Modeling and Systems Thinking

Design clean data schemas and workflows that allow AI systems to reason over shipments, lanes, facilities, and events in real time.

Iterate Based on Feedback

Continuously refine tools based on real usage, performance metrics, and operator feedback.

Design and Engineering ownership

Act as the connective tissue between product vision, AI capability, and practical engineering execution that you can handle yourself with AI.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience designing and building AI powered tools, internal platforms, or data driven products.

Hands on experience with tools like Augment, Supabase, modern LLM APIs, or similar AI and backend platforms.

Strong product and design intuition with the ability to simplify complex workflows.

Comfort working with real world data that is incomplete, noisy, and constantly changing.

Ability to think in systems, not just screens or models.

Experience collaborating closely with engineering and operations teams.

Interest in logistics, supply chains, or real world infrastructure problems is a strong plus.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Why Join Warp

Design AI systems that directly impact how goods move across the country. Work on real problems with real constraints and real consequences. Ship products that are used daily by operators running live freight. Be part of a small, fast moving team shaping the future of logistics intelligence.

Competitive compensation with meaningful ownership and upside.
