Role Overview:

As the Operations Manager for Carrier Operations at W/:\RP you will spearhead the development and management of our carrier network, focusing on dedicated lanes and the strategic handling of RFPs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrier Network Development: Engage and onboard a diverse range of small-to-medium-sized carriers throughout the US. Your mission is to establish a robust and reliable carrier network tailored to WARP's customers' unique demands.
  • Capacity Management: Utilize your logistics and transportation expertise to ensure adequate capacity within the carrier network to meet dynamic shipping needs. Manage carrier contracts and negotiate terms to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Develop close relationships with carriers to build strategic partnerships that boost operational efficiency and enhance service quality. Your efforts will be crucial in securing long-term, mutually advantageous contracts.
  • Reliability and Quality: Maintain the integrity and quality of shipments. Continuously monitor carrier performance and enforce strict quality control measures to sustain our commitment to excellence in carrier operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally managing carrier sales over 2 years.
  • Detail-oriented with a robust emphasis on accuracy and data-driven decision-making.
  • Demonstrated success in expanding carrier sales teams and processes.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of logistics and the supply chain.
  • "Never Give Up" mentality, adept at overcoming challenges and converting obstacles into opportunities.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, able to forge strong relationships with carriers and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
  • Quick adaptability to changing business requirements and a flair for devising innovative solutions to operational hurdles.
