The Role

The Merchandising Coordinator will work directly with the Category Management team to assist with clerical tasks and data entry related specifically to the Merchandising department. You will frequently communicate with members of the Merch team, external brand partners, and cross-functional partners to ensure item & vendor setup is accurate & up-to-date. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, be accustomed to multitasking, prioritizing, and meeting multiple tight deadlines, and have a passion and dedication for the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee new vendor onboarding & product setup process, including collecting supplier documentation, photography & product assets, and managing internal system data uploads
- Closely manage new item processes with cross-functional partners to ensure accurate site presentation and timely launch for all new products
- Maintain vendor data & brand contracts, including but not limited to Rebate & EDLP submissions, brand promotions, vendor transitions, and contract renewals
- Manage the site experience & product presentation by regularly auditing product descriptions, copy, images, taxonomy, and values
- Assist the Member Services team with timely and accurate responses to questions and comments and reacting with necessary changes to product presentation
- Perform system audits to ensure data integrity
- Assist in special projects on behalf of the Category Management team
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-3 years of work experience in eCommerce, exposure to item & data management preferred
- Experience using Google Docs and Microsoft Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
- Strong time management, multi-tasking, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced, start-up environment
- Detail-Oriented
- Interested in developing a career in Merchandising
- Experience with CRM & ERP systems Magento, Netsuite, HJ & Simplain a plus

JOB INFORMATION:
- Compensation Description - The base hourly range for this position is $20-$25/Per Hour.
- Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and geographic location.
