At Raise Robotics, we’re building robots that work where people shouldn’t. Our team has successfully deployed machines into real construction sites and factories. We’re now building our next generation platform to help build some of the largest structures in the world - think buildings, ships, energy generation plants, and more.

We’re looking for team members who enjoy touch technical challenges and want to make an impact. You’ll have the opportunity to travel to customer sites and see our machines working out in the real world.

For this role, we are looking for a Principal Mechanical Engineer to own the design, analysis, prototyping, and production-readiness of critical mechanical subsystems across our AMR platform. This is a high-impact individual contributor role where you will take full ownership of subsystems end-to-end, from concept through deployment. You will work across AMR chassis and drivetrain design, end-effector and manipulation systems, industrial enclosures and protective structures, and sensor integration hardware. You will collaborate daily with electrical, firmware, and software engineers to ship robots into harsh, real-world environments.

For this role, we are seeking a full stack who will own the user interface through which customers interact with our machines.

What we’re looking for:

  • At least 3 years in frontend or full stack development in a production environment.
  • Experience developing 3D visualization interfaces with user interaction and web based 3D rendering libraries such as ThreeJS.
  • SPA programming experience and an interest in both performance and tooling.
  • Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript and modern JavaScript libraries and tooling (e.g. React, Redux, Vue)
  • Experience with UI CI/CD mechanisms and tooling related to deployment and caching (e.g service workers, CDN, etc)
  • Experience shipping production code with full instrumentation: deployment, logging, and monitoring and documentation.

What you’ll do:

  • Design and implement modular, maintainable frontend architectures with a focus on scalability, accessibility, and performance.
  • Drive adoption of modern frontend technologies and frameworks to ensure a robust and scalable ecosystem.
  • Maintain UI build pipelines and monitoring tools.
  • Work with end users and onboard engineers to determine interface requirements.
