Robotics Machine Learning Engineer
Raise Robotics
At Raise Robotics, we’re building robots that work where people shouldn’t. Our team has successfully deployed machines into real construction sites and factories. We’re now deploying our next generation platform to help build some of the largest structures in the world - think buildings, ships, energy generation plants, and more.
We’re looking for team members who enjoy touch technical challenges and want to make an impact. You’ll have the opportunity to travel to customer sites and see our machines working out in the real world.
For this role, we are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer who will focus on developing data driven models for perception and behavior. In this role, you’ll develop state of the art learning approaches and build a scalable data architecture.
What we’re looking for:
- At least 3 years of experience building and shipping machine learning models.
- Previous experience working with imitation learning, reinforcement learning, or behavior cloning, either for robotics or other applications.
- Familiarity with best practices in large scale data collection.
- (Plus) Previous publications in major journals or conferences (e.g. ICRA, IROS, CoRL, CVPR, ECCV, ICCV, ICML, NeurIPS, etc.)
What you’ll do:
- Design, train, validate, and launch models for imitation and reinforcement learning
- Build and maintain data pipelines for training and evaluation
- Create evaluation and testing procedures in both software and hardware.
- Deploy and debug models in real-world environments, addressing practical issues such as latency, hardware constraints, and system integration.
