At Preveta, we’re not just fixing a broken system—we’re building a better one from the ground up. Our software powers proactive, data-driven care navigation for cancer and complex diseases. We partner with top clinical teams to ensure patients get timely, appropriate care—before it’s too late. We’re now hiring a clinically trained, data-focused teammate to help us go even further. This position is a full time remote position.

What You’ll Do

You’ll play a pivotal role in our product and integration efforts—translating clinical realities into structured logic that our software and engineering teams can build from. This is not an abstract strategy job. It’s deep in the weeds, detail-rich, and impact-loaded. You’ll be the person we trust to say: "This is what good looks like."

You’ll lead in 4 core areas:

1. Data

  • Ensure data captured from practices aligns with clinical workflows and business value.
  • Perform clinical mappings (e.g. ICD, CPT, LOINC, etc.) and validate patient data across integrations.

2. Product

  • Work with our product and engineering teams to define clinical logic, definitions, and decision rules that power our software.
  • Ensure that the software handles scenarios and workflows that simulate the myriad real-world possibilities.

3. Customer Collaboration

  • Engage with our customer facing teams to deeply understand customer workflows and ensure we mirror their clinical intent in our systems.
  • Help translate problems into clear, solvable components for the rest of the team.

4. Cross-functional Insight

  • Be the connective tissue between product, data, customer success, and leadership.
  • Bring clinical discernment and clarity to everything from onboarding new pathways to refining implementation logic.

Who You Are

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Takes ownership and finds joy in doing things right. You don’t wait for direction—you are proactive and the standard.
  • Operates with excellence and pride. You hold a high bar for your own work because you know lives depend on it.
  • Is curious and a problem solver at heart. You have a need to figure things out, to understand how things work so that you can solve tough problems.
  • Thrives in ambiguity and builds clarity. You love solving hard problems and creating structure where none exists.
  • Is clinically fluent and data sharp. You know how real clinical workflows operate and how data can either reflect or distort that.
  • Communicates clearly and proactively. You ask the right questions before diving in and always keep stakeholders in sync.
  • Finds the fun in building with others. We work hard and move fast—but we laugh often and collaborate deeply. We each bring our best, and when we combine forces, 1 + 1 = 3.

This role is ideal for someone who prefers the “behind the scenes” work—translating complexity into clarity, ensuring what gets built is clinically and logically correct, and sweating the details others might miss.

Qualifications

We don’t believe in perfect resumes. If this role excites you and your background lines up with most of the below, we’d love to talk:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in clinical strategy, informatics, or data-driven product work
  • Licensed clinical background (RN, NP, PA, MD, etc.) or equivalent clinical experience (current license not required)
  • Experience working with healthcare data, coding systems (ICD/CPT), and/or EHR integrations
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, startup environment

(Must Have) Qualities

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Experience, comfort, and skill using practice management systems, EHRs/EMRs, pharmacy management systems, etc.
  • Strong ability to use healthcare systems (PMs, EHRs/EHRs, etc.) never-before-encountered
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States

Preveta’s Mission

Preveta’s care navigation technology is designed to scale human-centric care.

We empower healthcare providers with data-driven health insights that eliminate care coordination breakdowns: ensuring every patient has access to the support they need to navigate our challenging healthcare system.

You are integral for delivering a software platform that helps users bring patients through treatment-specific, gold-standard algorithmic clinical protocols that ensure patients don’t get lost in the traffic of our healthcare system.

We value:

  • Ownership – a posture of ownership and an unwillingness to let things drop
  • Dedication – a relentless pursuit of problem-solving and an unwillingness to accept ineffective and inefficient solutions
  • Excellence – an internal wiring to achieve the best outcomes and go beyond
  • Growth – self-commitment to personally explore, learn, grow in opportunities, solutions, and new arenas as well as a commitment to help the team grow
  • Curiosity – an innate hunger to understand, evidenced by thoughtful, respectful, and sometimes relentless questioning
  • Communication – committed to clear and effective communication, both verbal and written, to the point of overcommunication
