We’re looking for a cooking enthusiast to inspire customers through product knowledge and exceptional service. In this role, you will be part-time and fully dedicated to Our Place at Selfridges Oxford Street, working directly for the Selfridges store team.
What you’d do
- Create a welcoming atmosphere and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
- Become an expert on our products, sharing your knowledge and offering product demonstrations to customers.
- Ensure Our Place products are well-displayed and stocked in-store.
- Complete accurate customer transactions using Selfridges' point-of-sale system.
- Support in-store events and promotions as needed.
Who you are
- Enthusiastic about customer connection, cooking, kitchenware, and Our Place’s mission.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time (3+ hours)
- Available for 22.5 hours per week, flexible schedule. Able to work full shifts on weekends and one weekday availability.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise.
- Ability to operate a computer, POS/register system, keyboards, and scanners
