Account Manager | Remote (U.S. Time Zone - EST)

Pay range: $1,600 – $2,000 USD per month

About the Role

Are you passionate about eCommerce, digital marketing, and customer experience? As an Account Manager at Octane AI, you’ll work closely with top brands and agency partners to help them maximize the power of AI quizzes and zero-party data. From strategy and implementation to training and optimization, you'll play a key role in ensuring our merchants achieve success with Octane AI.

You'll lead clients from quiz ideation to launch, helping them integrate quizzes into their marketing strategy across email, SMS, and paid ads (Meta, TikTok, etc.). You’ll even get hands-on building stunning quizzes to enhance the customer journey!

This role is remote but requires working U.S. time zone hours.

Your Responsibilities

Client Strategy & Success

  • Work with top merchants to develop high-converting quizzes and zero-party data capturing strategies.
  • Provide expert training and coaching to merchants and agency partners.
  • Help merchants set up additional Octane AI features that will bring additional value.
  • Ensure customers understand how to leverage quizzes across their marketing channels (email, SMS, paid ads).

Quiz & Campaign Execution

  • Build and optimize quizzes to create engaging shopping experiences.
  • Support merchants in A/B testing and performance tracking to maximize results.
  • Stay up-to-date on eCommerce and AI trends to suggest innovative strategies.

Training & Thought Leadership

  • Lead client training sessions (and occasionally webinars, and workshops).
  • Contribute to best practices, internal documentation, and case studies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to help refine and improve Octane AI’s account management processes and product design.

Relationship Building

  • Develop strong relationships with enterprise clients, ensuring they feel supported and valued.
  • Maintain consistent communication to drive retention and customer satisfaction.
  • Be the go-to strategic partner for brands looking to scale their success with quizzes.

About You

Your Background & Experience

✔ At least 1-3 years in a customer-facing role (Account Management, Customer Success, or similar).

✔ Experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, or Shopify ecosystem (Bonus: Klaviyo expertise!).

✔ Strong understanding of email automation, paid ads, and customer engagement strategies.

✔ Bonus: Experience working in a startup environment!
