Mass Appeal is seeking a dynamic Host for our upcoming Live Shopping Experience, an interactive show at the crossroads of hip hop culture, commerce, and entertainment. The ideal candidate lives and breathes hip hop, with deep knowledge of both emerging voices and legendary artists, and thrives in front of the camera.

Responsibilities

Serve as the on-camera host for Mass Appeal’s live shopping experience.

Bring energy, authenticity, and cultural insight to every broadcast.

Drive audience engagement while comfortably and confidently selling products in real time.

Conduct engaging conversations with both new and established artists.

Collaborate with producers and creative teams to shape dynamic, shoppable segments.

Represent Mass Appeal with professionalism, reliability, and charisma.

Requirements

Must be based in New York City and available for on-site shoots.

Strong knowledge of hip hop culture, from rising talent to legacy artists.

Comfortable working with celebrities, tastemakers, and high-profile guests.

Ability to sell products online in a live or digital environment.

Excellent on-camera presence, quick thinking, and improvisational skills.

Punctual, dependable, and responsible — must consistently show up prepared and on time.

Prior hosting, presenting, or media experience preferred.

Role Details

Compensation: $25–$35/hour (flexible based on experience).

Schedule: 2 hours per session, 2–4x per week (approx. 4–10 hours weekly).
