Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a passionate and creative Marketing Specialist to support the launch of an exciting new PC game. In this role, you will assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns, managing social media, engaging with influencers, and analyzing performance metrics. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in game marketing and work with a dynamic team. This is a six-month contract role with the possibility of extension or conversion to a full-time position.
Our headquarters are located in San Mateo, CA but this role can be fully remote.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and implementing digital marketing campaigns (social media, email, ads).
- Help manage social media channels (Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Discord) and engage with the gaming community.
- Support influencer/creator outreach and partnership initiatives.
- Track and report on campaign performance using analytics tools.
- Collaborate with design and content teams to create promotional assets.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor strategies.
Requirements:
- Strong interest in gaming and digital marketing.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation.
- Basic knowledge of marketing tools (Google Analytics, Meta Ads, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university, or significant experience as the degree equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in marketing, gaming, or content creation.
- Understanding of the PC gaming landscape.
Pay Range: $20/hour to $40/hour
A reasonable estimate of the current US base range for this position is listed above. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay scale for the position across all US locations. Within that range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including but not limited to job-related skill sets, experience and training, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
