As a Junior Merchandiser, you will play an important role in bringing G2’s merchandise to life - from iconic team jerseys to lifestyle collections and fan products. You’ll work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and partners to ensure our products are available, well-organized, and delivered smoothly across all our channels. G2 is looking for a Junior Ecom & Product Merchandiser (m/f/d) to join our team. This is a full-time position based in Berlin and will directly report to our Head of Merchandising & Licensing.

Responsibilities:

Ecom - merchandising:

  • Support our merchandising team in the day-to-day operations of our consumer products and merchandise business, including jerseys, lifestyle collections, and limited-edition drops
  • Support the execution of seasonal assortment plans by maintaining assortment lists, tracking product updates, and ensuring changes are implemented across systems and platforms
  • Execute product and merchandising updates across our Shopify store and internal platforms, ensuring product pages, content, and launches are accurate and aligned with campaigns
  • Maintain accurate product, order, and inventory data within internal systems and support the team in preparing reports and performance tracking
  • Contribute to smooth operational processes across merchandising, e-commerce, and retail activities, including supporting campaign launches and product drops

Product merchandising:

  • Own end-to-end management of assigned product categories, leading the full collection lifecycle from range planning and initial brief through to go-to-market execution
  • Define and manage the merchandising and launch calendar, ensuring timely delivery across key milestones and alignment with cross-functional teams
  • Drive vendor negotiations, building strong partner relationships and securing optimal commercial terms and agreements
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs and financial performance (sales, margins, stock), translating insights into actionable recommendations to optimize assortment and drive growth

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Fashion Management, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a similar related field is a plus
  • 2+ years of experience in merchandising, retail operations, e-commerce, supply chain, or a similar operational role
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Experience working with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms, including basic product or inventory management
  • Strong sense of time management and reliability when handling operational processes
  • Experience supporting order fulfillment, shipments, or logistics coordination, preferably in collaboration with internal operations or workplace teams
  • Interest in merchandising, consumer products, streetwear, or esports culture
  • Proactive mindset and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Strong sense of time management and reliability when handling operational processes
