The Opportunity:
A great workplace enables teams to do their best work! We are seeking a passionate Workplace colleague to join us temporarily to support our team during Workplace colleague maternity leave. In this role, you will have the chance to work with amazing colleagues in Flexport! And drive regional projects, serve as regional Workplace team members to collaborate closely with the global & regional team to address Workplace matters for our APAC offices, and contribute to the GEO expansion Workplace agenda within the region. This position reports to the Head of People & Workplace in the region

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with workplace team mates in the region to manage offices across different APAC locations on the whole workplace agenda.
  • Lead and planning and execution regional level projects such as office moving, budgeting and other different initiatives.
  • Provide advisory support and share best practices with the regional team for new entity openings in APAC, based on prior experience.
  • Oversee local office vendors, services, and supplies, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to the assigned budget for the responsible offices.
  • Drive and support office events to keep employees engaged. Address escalated workplace requests and feedback, ensuring a high standard of service and positively impacts. Partner with local site leaders to build great employee experiences.
  • Communicate with the building management office and ensure offices operate within all rules and regulations. Maintain environments in compliance with monthly audits and uphold the highest standards of security, safety, and integrity.
  • Other workplace tasks are assigned by the company.

What you’ll need:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in workplace or facilities management, if experiences to manage employees is a plus. Regional (APAC) workplace experience is highly preferred.
  • Fluency in English is a must.
  • Advanced project management skills with laser attention to detail, a strong sense of urgency, and personal accountability. Must be able to balance multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Highly organized with the ability to oversee budgets, vendor contracts, and space planning efforts. Basic knowledge of building systems and facilities management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Composure under pressure, deep sense of empathy, and professionalism in all situations. Respect for sensitive and confidential information.
