Overview

FaZe Media is seeking an experienced and visionary SVP of Talent to lead our creator strategy and talent division as part of the executive team. This role is central to shaping the next era of FaZe Media’s creator ecosystem with a newly launched division coming later this Fall—expanding our roster, guiding talent strategy across platforms and content, and unlocking new revenue streams through brand, content, and consumer products.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in talent management and operations with a strong background in business-building on behalf of creators, signing new talent, and driving strategies that integrate content, serialized IP, platforms, and industry leading partnerships. This executive will be a builder, a strategist, and a leader who thrives at the intersection of culture, community, and commerce.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead the development and execution of a soon to launch business unit that includes oversight of talent strategy and business building towards the next generation of creator CEOs.
  • Oversee day-to-day talent business partner operations, ensuring creators are supported across streaming, social platforms, brand opportunities, and career development.
  • Build scalable systems for onboarding, contract structures, revenue models, and talent development pathways.

Talent Acquisition & Growth

  • Identify, recruit, and sign top-tier creators who align with FaZe Media’s culture and audience.
  • Expand the FaZe Media talent roster into adjacent categories such as music, sports, gaming, and entertainment.
  • Build new IP and serialized content opportunities.
  • Identify, evaluate, and secure licensing opportunities with AVOD and FAST platforms
  • Amplify the careers of managed creators

Business Building on Behalf of Creators

  • Unlock and grow revenue opportunities for creators across branded partnerships, licensing, consumer products, live events, and digital IP.
  • Partner with the sales and partnerships teams to create innovative brand integrations and secure long-term deals.
  • Develop monetization strategies that leverage FaZe’s massive global audience while staying authentic to community culture.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with FaZe Media’s content, marketing, and partnerships teams to create integrated campaigns that elevate both talent and brand partners.
  • Collaborate with executives to align talent initiatives with the overall vision and growth of the company.
  • Act as a thought leader and public-facing representative of FaZe’s creator ecosystem in industry conversations.

Innovation & Market Awareness

  • Stay ahead of industry trends in gaming, streaming, social platforms, and youth culture to drive next-generation talent strategies.
  • Explore emerging platforms and technologies to keep FaZe talent at the forefront of digital culture.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of proven experience as an executive within talent management, creator development, or entertainment management.
  • Track record of signing and scaling creators
  • Deep understanding of the creator economy, content platforms (Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, Kick, Instagram), and brand partnerships.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a history of building businesses and driving revenue on behalf of creators.
  • Robust industry network across creators, brands, agencies, and platforms.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to mentor and grow a best-in-class talent team.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills.
