Overview
FaZe Media is seeking a passionate and driven Director, Brand and Partnerships Executive to join our team as a foundational member in building and scaling our brand partnership ecosystem. This role is critical to driving revenue through agency relationships and direct-to-brand deals, leveraging FaZe Media’s massive audience and cultural influence. The ideal candidate is a strategic builder who deeply understands the FaZe brand, its audience, and its unique position in gaming and youth culture. You will be responsible for securing high-value partnerships, fostering agency relationships, and delivering deals that align with FaZe’s vision while generating significant revenue.
- Drive Revenue through Brand Partnerships: Identify, pitch, and close direct-to-brand deals with major companies in gaming, lifestyle, fashion, tech, and entertainment, ensuring alignment with FaZe Media’s brand identity and audience.
- Build and Maintain Agency Relationships: Cultivate strong partnerships with advertising agencies, talent agencies, and marketing firms to expand FaZe Media’s network and secure collaborative opportunities.
- Develop Strategic Sales Pipelines: Create and manage a robust pipeline of prospective brand partners, using data-driven and people-centered approaches to win new business.
- Craft Authentic Proposals: Develop tailored pitches and proposals that resonate with FaZe’s audience, emphasizing authentic storytelling and the brand’s cultural relevance.
- Understand and Champion the FaZe Brand: Leverage a deep understanding of FaZe Media’s history, values, and audience to ensure partnerships align with our community-driven ethos and avoid inauthentic “money grabs.”
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with FaZe Media’s marketing, content, and talent teams to execute integrated campaigns that maximize partner value and audience engagement.
- Negotiate and Close Deals: Lead contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial terms that drive revenue while protecting the FaZe brand’s integrity.
- Monitor Market Trends: Stay ahead of industry trends in gaming, esports, and youth culture to identify new opportunities and competitive strategies.
- Track and Report Performance: Analyze partnership outcomes, provide detailed reports on revenue and engagement metrics, and refine strategies to optimize future deals.
- Experience: 3+ years in sales, business development, or brand partnerships, preferably in media, entertainment, gaming, or influencer marketing. Proven track record of closing high-value deals and generating revenue.
- FaZe Brand Knowledge: Deep understanding of FaZe Clan’s history, culture, and audience, with a passion for gaming and youth culture. Familiarity with FaZe’s content creators, esports legacy, and brand partnerships (e.g., Nike, McDonald’s, DraftKings).
- Sales Acumen: Strong negotiation and consultative selling skills, with experience managing full sales cycles, from prospecting to closing.
- Agency Expertise: Experience building and maintaining relationships with advertising or talent agencies, with a network of industry contacts being a plus.
- Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and execute creative, data-driven strategies that align with FaZe Media’s goals and resonate with its audience.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling pitches and present to senior stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is unfazed by rejection or challenging opportunities.

- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and data analysis for tracking sales performance.
- Experience working with influencers, content creators, or esports organizations.
- Creative storytelling skills to align brand partnerships with FaZe’s narrative-driven approach.
