Edge Delta is seeking a Senior Technical Content Writer to join our growing Marketing team. We’re currently expanding our content footprint, with a focus on high-quality, narrative blog posts written for an audience of technical end users (Platform Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Software Engineers, SREs) and technical leaders (CIOs, CTOs). The role will report directly to our VP of Marketing. Please note: This is not a Technical Docs Writer role.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Research, write, pitch, and occasionally edit articles and content for the Edge Delta website and blog, such as:
- Best practices guides and tutorials
- Longform deep dives on relevant technologies
- Original research reports
- Customer case studies
- Announcements for new Edge Delta products and features
- Thought leadership articles and posts
- Industry trends analysis and commentary
- Video scripts
- Translate highly technical concepts into readable, precise prose.
- Collaborate with editors, marketing team members, product managers, engineers, and designers to ensure technical accuracy, narrative flow and readability, quality of design, and brand alignment of all content.
Adapt voice and style, depending on article type or content format. Incorporate feedback from internal and external stakeholders. - Develop new article formats and collaborate with video editors/producers and graphic designers.
WHO YOU ARE:
- An experienced technical writer who has worked directly with editors in a professional environment, with an extensive, diverse portfolio of published work related to the SaaS industry.
- A professional with minimum 5 years experience as a technology writer and/or journalist with deep technical expertise; and/or a CS degree; or equivalent work experience writing on technical topics such as cloud technologies, AI/ML, observability, data pipelines, and security.
- A proven deep understanding of modern application development and monitoring concepts.
- Comfortable researching new technologies and bringing new ideas to the table.

COMP RANGE:
$140,000/yr - $170,000/yr USD
