About Safari AI
Safari AI, formerly known as curbFlow, uses computer vision technology to convert the digital cameras of businesses & organizations into data collection machines. There are over a Billion IP cameras in the world, and Safari AI's mission is to make them much more valuable to their commercial owners. Clients connect their video to Safari AI to get real-time, business-critical data like pedestrian counts for retail, guest tracing for commercial real estate, traffic counts for DOTs and engineering firms, employee engagement at restaurants, and live wait times for amusement park rides, to name a few of our use cases.
Paying clients include Taco Bell/Yum Brands, NYC's largest 7-11 franchisee, Goodwill, Brightline, Merlin Entertainments (owner of Legoland) and JBG Smith, developer of Amazon's HQ2.
Safari AI was seed-funded with $8mm in 2018 by venture capital firms General Catalyst and Initialized Capital (Garry Tan) and expects to raise a Series A by the summer 2024.
Leadership & Culture
Safari AI is founded by a former Y Combinator founder with a meaningful exit under his belt. The company has headquarters in NYC, and a distributed engineering team with members living throughout North and South America.

About the Role
With Safari AI’s growth in leads and revenue, the company started an inside sales team based in NYC in September to expand beyond founder-led sales. Following the successful ramp of our first sales and SDR hires, Safari AI is now recruiting for its second class of senior AE’s, and take advantage of the playbook it has developed over the last couple of years.

What you will be working on Weekly Basis

  • Sell the company’s SaaS to some of the largest enterprise opportunities
  • Grow new enterprise client relationships by analyzing, building, and managing a sales pipeline
  • Deliver an above-and-beyond client experience through using every communication channel, including travel to highest priority prospects
  • Communicate the Safari AI vision and opportunity for prospects, mostly through evaluating ROI scenarios in partnership with the prospect
  • Think creatively on how to assess & enhance the client's ability to use Safari AI-sourced data to produce a meaningful ROI
  • Expect the unexpected: you’ll adapt quickly and solve problems when things don’t go as planned
  • Own effective meeting handoffs from SDR team to ensure the ideal client experience
  • Cultivate and qualify new inbound leads that turn into quality opportunities
  • Own the end-to-end full sales cycle from qualification to close
  • Collaborate with Marketing & BDR teams to qualify new leads
  • Build strong relationships and champions within prospects to drive deal to close
  • Partner with other Safari AI teams (e.g. marketing, operations, and deployment) to improve our go-to-market narrative and motion
  • Manage your sales pipeline in Hubspot according to best practices
  • Contribute to Safari AI’s overall go-to-market strategy and direction
  • Help build out resources for team scale and efficiency

Requirement for the Role

  • At least 4 years of enterprise SaaS sales experience as an Account Executive
  • Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Desire to learn and explain Safari AI's Vision AI to leads, customers and channel partners
  • Fast learner whose not afraid about learning about the company’s technology and how it’s used in detail
  • Collaborative and instinctive team player, knowing when to pull in teammates to help close an opportunity
  • Experience in the early, high-growth stages of a SaaS startup before systems and processes have been perfected and excited to continue iterating them
