Cue Health Inc. is seeking to hire a full-time Staff Accountant. this position will be responsible for organizational improvements, month end close, reconciliations, variance analysis, and productivity metrics and must perform specialized accounting functions in accordance with generally accepted accounting procedures.
Responsibilities:
Apply principles of accounting to compile and analyze financial information to prepare Government and Commercial billings (Cost Type, Time and Material, Firm Fixed Price Progress Payments, Milestones, and Performance Based Payments) and perform detailed analysis of billings, collections in support of DOD/HHS contracts
Preparation, review and submission of highly complex customer billings
Review customer billings prepared by staff for compliance of contract terms and conditions and established department policies and procedures
Review and input Accounts Payable through Bill.com
Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
Maintain a variety of electronic and manual records; prepare routine and special reports
Communicate verbally and in writing with customers, suppliers and staff members to exchange information, resolve discrepancies, and correct errors
Miscellaneous accounts receivable reporting and resolution of payment issues
Analysis of unbilled balances
Heavy interface with internal and external customers
Special projects as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with 3 years' of relevant experience
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting and record keeping procedures (GAAP)
Strong accounts payable and accounts receivable knowledge
Strong integrity: Job requires being professional, honest, and ethical
Ability to perform a variety of complex accounting and clerical duties involving the highest degree of accuracy and organization.
Exceptional oral and written English communication skills
Ability to work independently with little or no direction and to meet schedules and timelines
Ability to work confidentially with discretion
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with all contacted in the scope of employment
Cost accounting knowledge a plus
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles

The estimated base compensation range for this role is shown below. This range is based upon current market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay will be determined in accordance with a candidate's location, skills, expertise, background, experience, and other relevant factors.
