We're building the intelligence layer for hardware—AI-native tooling that gives engineers real-time awareness and control at the metal. Our customers span aerospace, defense, robotics, and manufacturing, and we're growing fast.
We're looking for a Founder Associate to work directly with our founding team on the high-leverage, high-variety work that defines early-stage companies. This is a part-time role for someone who thrives on context-switching and wants a front-row seat to how a venture-backed startup operates across every dimension.
- Market & business research — competitive landscapes, customer discovery, industry deep-dives
- Customer-facing work — support demos, help craft proposals, respond to RFPs
- Recruiting ops — track candidates, coordinate outreach, keep our pipeline moving
- Whatever else matters — investor prep, conference planning, partnerships, the list evolves
This isn't a narrowly scoped role. You'll touch sales, ops, strategy, and recruiting—often in the same week.
- Are relentlessly organized and can drive tasks to completion without hand-holding
- Write clearly and think critically
- Are energized by ambiguity and learning new domains quickly
- Have genuine curiosity about deep tech, hardware, or defense
- Can commit 15–25 hours/week with real flexibility—this role is part-time but not passive. You'll need to be responsive and available to jump on things quickly when they come up.
You'll have visibility into sensitive company information—fundraising, customer conversations, hiring pipelines, strategy. We need someone who exercises good judgment about what to share and where, and who communicates proactively. If something's on fire, we need to know. If you're blocked, we need to know. Over-communication is a feature, not a bug.
