About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy and roadmap for Citizen’s enterprise platform, helping define how organizations monitor, understand, and respond to real-world safety events.

Enterprise represents a major opportunity for Citizen. As organizations increasingly rely on real-time data and AI-driven tools to manage safety and security, this role will help shape how Citizen’s platform evolves to support complex operational environments — from corporate security teams and campuses to cities and large institutions.

As the first product leader focused on enterprise, you will play a foundational role in defining the long-term direction of Citizen’s enterprise offering. You’ll develop a deep understanding of enterprise safety workflows, identify high-impact opportunities at the intersection of public safety, enterprise security, AI, and real-time data, and translate those insights into a clear product strategy and roadmap.

You’ll work closely with Engineering, Data Science, Sales, and company leadership to bring new enterprise capabilities to market and ensure Citizen’s platform becomes an increasingly valuable operational tool for organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the enterprise product strategy and roadmap, defining how Citizen’s platform evolves to support enterprise customers and large organizations.

  • Define the long-term vision for Citizen’s enterprise safety platform, imagining how modern organizations monitor, understand, and respond to real-world safety events.

  • Identify emerging opportunities at the intersection of public safety, enterprise security, AI, and real-time data, translating them into clear product direction.

  • Develop a deep understanding of enterprise operational workflows and design product capabilities that meaningfully improve safety monitoring, coordination, and decision-making.

  • Partner closely with Engineering and Data Science to develop AI-enabled capabilities that automate monitoring, incident triage, and operational insight.

  • Work with Sales and enterprise customers to understand real-world operational environments and incorporate those insights into product strategy and roadmap decisions.

  • Guide cross-functional teams (Engineering, Data Science, Design, and Operations) to bring enterprise capabilities from concept through launch.

  • Evaluate strategic partnerships and integrations that expand Citizen’s enterprise safety ecosystem.

Qualifications

  • 6–10 years of product management experience

  • Experience owning strategy or roadmap for enterprise or B2B software products

  • Track record of shipping products that serve complex organizational workflows

  • Strong product judgment and ability to operate in ambiguous environments

  • Experience working closely with engineers and data scientists on technically complex products

  • Familiarity with AI-enabled products such as LLM-driven applications, automation systems, or applied machine learning

  • Understanding of enterprise requirements including reliability, data privacy, and scalability

  • Comfort engaging with enterprise customers and supporting complex deal cycles

  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence executive leadership

Salary Range

This role offers a base salary of $185,000–$205,000 per year, plus equity.

Compensation & Benefits
We offer competitive salary, equity, and a full benefits package, including:

  • At least one fully employer-sponsored medical plan option

  • Dental and vision coverage, with a small employee contribution

  • Unlimited PTO

  • Up to 14 weeks paid parental leave (for all parents)

  • Monthly tech stipend

  • Free mental health support

  • Hybrid work environment + catered lunches (NYC HQ)
