Healthcare AI Product Manager

We are seeking a Healthcare AI Product Manager with expertise in technology startup product management, healthcare data and workflows, machine learning, and large language models to drive innovation across a portfolio of enterprise healthcare B2B products. This role is ideal for a healthcare product expert with technical fluency and a passion for AI-driven transformation in healthcare.
In this role, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing intelligent solutions that accelerate chart abstraction, data drive quality improvement, and enhance clinical workflows. You’ll identify user pains and gains, identify buyer value propositions, assess markets and competitors, and create web-based products to meet these needs. You’ll collaborate closely with user experience, engineering, and machine learning teams to bring these products to our customers and users.
Responsibilities:
Strategy & Market Understanding
- Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to inform product strategy, opportunities, and roadmap.
- Identify emerging trends in healthcare data, interoperability, and AI-driven analytics, and translate them into product opportunities.
- Build and maintain a product roadmap aligned with company vision and market needs.
Product Creation & Lifecycle Management
- Lead cross-functional product development from ideation to launch, balancing speed, quality, and customer value.
- Collaborate with engineering, data science, and UX/UI teams to define clear product requirements and success criteria.
- Manage both new product creation and enhancement of existing/legacy products, ensuring continued relevance and adoption.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner closely with user experience and design teams to ensure products are intuitive, accessible, and impactful.
- Work with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to align product positioning, pricing, and messaging.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in customer meetings, industry events, and internal briefings.
Product Marketing & Go-to-Market
- Develop product launch plans, value propositions, and messaging tailored to healthcare enterprise buyers.
- Create product marketing collateral, demos, and sales enablement tools.
- Support the commercial team in strategic accounts, RFPs, sales calls, and market education.
Metrics & Continuous Improvement
- Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators for product adoption, retention, and satisfaction.
- Use data-driven insights to iterate and improve product features and business outcomes.
- Maintain a feedback loop with customers to ensure ongoing alignment with their evolving needs.
What you’ll need:
Product Management Experience
- 4+ years working as a product manager or product analyst in enterprise healthcare software
- Been the product manager for at least one “0 to 1” healthcare product launch
Healthcare Industry Expertise
Strong understanding of clinical (not claims) data elements in hospitals and physician practices
- Familiarity with EHR products, capabilities, and workflows
Technical & AI Fluency
- Experience with AI applications in healthcare, including both LLM and other machine learning algorithms and models
- Healthcare data analysis and critical thinking skills. You don’t have to write SQL, but you need to be able to look at a data set and understand what it’s telling you and then make decisions based on that data.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on LLM or AI/ML-powered healthcare applicationsFamiliarity with clinical registries (e.g., STS, NSQIP, NCDR), EHRs, or abstraction tools
- Worked in a health tech startup before

The target wage range for this role is $105,000 – $117,800 annually. Individual wage rates within this range are based on multiple factors including skills, experience, and relevant qualifications.
