The Role:
Arine is looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join our team and ensure the quality of data across our applications. As QA Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work in close collaboration with technical stakeholders, and will be responsible for working on Arine's customer-facing portal with secure data.

What You'll be Doing:
  • Experience in backend/ETL testing with advanced SQL-skills, in-depth understanding of ETL concepts
  • Must have experience with testing efforts for data in cloud such as Data Lake
  • Expert in SQL with the ability to create source-to-target comparison test cases in SQL
  • Develop ETL test plan/strategy/ test scenarios/test cases/test data management
  • Experience in analyzing ETL mapping documents
  • Experience with NoSQL databases, ideally AWS Dynamo DB
  • Experience with Snowflake
  • Database (Postgre SQL) testing with ETL processes
  • Proficiency in analyzing business requirements (source to target mappings) and develop test plans, test cases, test strategies
  • Should have exposure to large data sets and understand data quality framework
  • Must be well versed with different models, data ingestion, standards and processes in ETL systems
  • Experience in JIRA
  • Experience in coordinating with Team Leads
  • Experience in SIT, UAT, and production deliveries
Our Ideal Candidate Possesses:
  • 5+ years of experience in ETL/ data pipeline testing
  • 5+ years of experience in designing and executing complex SQL queries
  • 2+ years of experience with Snowflake
  • 2+ years of experience on AWS Dynamo DB
  • 2+ Years of experience on creating and maintaining the automation framework for data testing
  • Excellent software troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication skills with product and development teams to ensure the highest test coverage possible
  • Experience on BDD framework will be a plus
  • Experience with Python scripting

Travel and Other Information:

  • For candidates local to the San Francisco Bay Area, the ability to commute to our office on Market Street in San Francisco at least 2-3 days/week
  • Ability to travel to Arine's San Francisco office at least twice per year

The posted range represents the expected hourly rate for this position and does not include any other potential components of the compensation package, benefits, and perks. Ultimately, the final pay decision will consider factors such as your experience, job level, location, and other relevant job-related criteria. The hourly pay rate for this position is: $50-60/hour.

Information Security Roles and Responsibilities:

All staff at Arine are expected to be part of its Information Security Management Program and undergo periodic training on Information Security Awareness and HIPAA guidelines. Each user is responsible to maintain a secure working environment and follow all policies and procedures.
