The Role:
Arine is redefining what excellent healthcare looks like by tackling one of the greatest drivers of costs in the US healthcare system - inappropriate use of medicines. Arine’s Medication Intelligence Platform uses AI and machine learning to introduce a patient-centric view to managing medications, helping address the $528B in associated costs and deliver better outcomes for all. What You’ll be Doing:
● Guiding the financial decision-making process, providing insights, and driving the overall financial performance of the organization, reporting to the CEO

● Lead the Accounting and Finance team, and build the infrastructure needed to provide ongoing insights on Arine’s financial performance, outlook and opportunities

● Lead the accounting close and reporting process. Maintain and compile timely and accurate accounting records with sound internal controls in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and other requirements

● Lead the execution of the financial planning cycle, including the preparation of short and long-range financial forecasts, feasibility studies as needed, and annual budgets

● Develop high quality and timely financial reports tailored to support decision making across the organization

● Optimize resource allocation (capital investments and operating expenditures) to align with company priorities and goals. Monitor, track and report against these outlays, identifying opportunities for optimization

● Drive all key finance processes including managing external financial audits and tax compliance, overseeing/monitoring all finance-related activities for each business unit, and driving process improvements (e.g. financial systems automation, etc.)

Our Ideal Candidate Possesses:
● 10+ years of experience in an Accounting or Finance role, with 4+ of those at an enterprise Saas company company leading finance functions (Accounting Manager or Director at an enterprise SaaS company with $50-$100M in ARR, or Controller at an enterprise SaaS company with $25-$50M in ARR) and 4+ years at a top tier public accounting firm

● Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance. Experience in maintaining relationships with external vendors (banks, auditors, tax specialists, etc.)

● Excellent analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail. Deep prior experience building and overseeing integrated financial models, including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements

● Proven success in implementing and driving business planning processes and improvements

● Strong written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrated experience interfacing with senior management, investor and Board stakeholders, as well as collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

● Highest level of integrity and good judgment, with the ability to effectively deal with highly sensitive, confidential information

● System savvy and experience working with different systems including Netsuite; must have advanced knowledge in Excel

● Bachelor’s or above degree in Accounting or Finance, a Certified Public Accountant preferred

● Ability to commute to our office on Market Street in San Francisco at least 3 days/week

The posted range represents the expected base salary range for this position and does not include any other potential components of the compensation package, benefits, and perks. Ultimately, the final pay decision will consider factors such as your experience, job level, location, and other relevant job-related criteria. The base salary range for this position is: $180,000-200,000/year.
